Truck Duty

We got asked to help dig out a bunch of cacti and succulents from a couple of CSSH members houses.

Because it was hot and we were profusely sweating - we didn't take a bunch of pictures, but here is the truck loaded to go work -

Dried up processed poo from Giraffes and Elephants from the Honolulu Zoo.

Now La can fertilize the planter beds -

Why I Haven't Been Posting

I blogged about this on the Life Amphibious blog, but I am finding this to be more relevant here.  We traded in our Toyota 4Runner for a Honda Ridgeline.  We just found ourselves using the 4Runner as if it was a truck and decided to just get a truck. 

In just under a month of making the switch, we've hauled giant pottery, bags of soil, and a load of heavy rocks.

This truck will save the Odyssey from hauling duty and should help extend its lifespan.  I should have it outfitted for board hauling duty shortly (but that's a post for the other blog).
