I recently transplanted it into a bigger container and just finally removed the original leaf that this plant emerged from. We are looking forward to growing this plant from a single leaf into a fully grown specimen, and applying what we learned here to see if we can propagate others from our existing plants as we trim them up.

Portulaca molokiniensis Cutting Taking Off
The kids and I took a fallen leaf from one of our Portulaca molokiniensis plants and noticed it had a root shoot. We stuck it in our propagation tray and were able to get it to grow.
I recently transplanted it into a bigger container and just finally removed the original leaf that this plant emerged from. We are looking forward to growing this plant from a single leaf into a fully grown specimen, and applying what we learned here to see if we can propagate others from our existing plants as we trim them up.
