Nursery Surfing - A Family Waimanalo Farm

Our original plan was to hit Sharon's (for the Heliconias) and Koba's (for the Cannas and the Golf Carts). But being New Year's Eve most of the nurseries were closed. We had made the trip out with La's cousin, and they suggested we visit one of their friend's farm. We did and ended up with some new Heliconia, a couple of taro corms and several tilapia. Talk about hospitality!!! We fried the fish last night for dinner, but not before I made a few gyotaku - I'm going to finish these and get them back to the farmers - one for the house and one for the Farmer's Market stall. Happy New Year!!! These pictures are from La's phone.
