I decided to get all the epiphytic orchids out of bark filled pots and mount them. I am using cedar planking for the mounts and long fiber sphagnum moss for the media. I wrap the moss on to the plank with old fishing tippet (finally I get to use this stuff...).
I also mounted a couple of the Hydnophytum formicarum ant plants. If these do better than their siblings, I'll have to make a bunch more mounts.
I'll let these stabilize for a month then take some progress photos.
