Caralluma schweinfurthii - I think

I've had this plant for a few months now - picked it up from the local CSS meeting, but I never knew what it was. Just today I saw a picture of one on Facebook with the poster asking for help identifying it. Someone was kind enough to respond and after doing a google to confirm, I believe this plant is a Caralluma schweinfurthii. Luckily it has a few blooms getting ready to open. If the flowers are brightly colored then this is the correct scientific name. If the flow is dark maroon, cross-refeerences online point to the plant being Caralluma hesperidum. I should know in a few days once the flowers bloom.
