More Pinch Pots Starting the Kiln Process

Getting pots and other clay bodies (I've been throwing some bowls and tea mugs in addition to pinching pots) through the bisque and glaze firings is totally out of my control. To make the most out of the energy and cost associated with firing up the kiln, the racks have to be full. I just missed the latest bisque and glaze runs, so now I'll have to wait a little longer for other potters to fill the racks. But that is actually part of the process and is one of the aspects of ceramics that helps strengthen one's patience. It'll be a week before these are out of the bisque, and probably another two weeks after that when they'll be out of the glaze firing.
