Carbon Trap Shino Pottery

The glaze firing for a batch of pottery I had at the pottery workshop I go to finished up a couple of days ago. I had over 40 pieces in this kiln load. I ended up using five glazes - one Red 25, several Tan Matte, plenty of MacKenzie Celedon, Janet's Clear and these in Carbon Trap Shino. I love the way this glaze clumps up when it is layered on thick. The pieces that don't have this chunkiness had a thinner layer, but that brought out the color more.
