That was fast...

The Portulaca molokiniensis leaf we've been propagating is sending up new leaves - this was a pretty quick process.  I took this picture last Monday - you can clearly see the nub at the base of the leaf and the roots hardening up.  This is where the new plant will grow from.


This was take a couple of days ago.  I was impressed that the nub at the base of the leaf had already formed - leaves popping out is a whole other ball game.


This was taken this morning - the new leaves are busting out.
