These are pretty much the same shapes I have made before (I think they are aesthetically pleasing), just about 3 times bigger.
The upper parts are thinned out while the bottoms still have a little more thickness to the clay (relative to the top). This is so there is a lower center of gravity and the pots have a lot less propensity to topple over (BIG problem at the plant show).
